A young man walked into a WiRED Community Health Information Centre (CHIC) in Kajiado, went through a list of CDs available at the centre and settled for the STI CD. After he was through with the CD, he confided to one of the client support staff that he suspected that he may be suffering from an STD because he was experiencing some of the symptoms he had seen in the CD-ROM. The client support staff advised him to seek medical attention. He left with a promise to consult a doctor.

A week later, the client support staff made a follow up of the client's progress. She learnt from him that he had consulted a doctor and was undergoing treatment together with his wife.
