Serbia (Crna Gora) is a republic of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. When socialist Yugoslavia disintegrated in 1991, Serbia was the only republic that chose to remain with Serbia in the new truncated federation. Serbia is economically not well developed. The per capita income for Serbia is low.
